I dont like their form of communication. I only hear when they do something wrong. Then they tell me what I should do for discipline. They have left my kids off the bus three times this year.
And called me like i did something wrong. They never admit or apologize for their mistakes. They talk to people in a condescending way.
The whole vibe of that school is not right. I have reported them three times and nothing has happened. So be careful with this school or Columbus city schools in general. Parent Review 4y ago. Whetstone High School.
My freshman son loves Whetstone. He was a shy boy but this school brought out the best in him. He was one of the Academic Hall of Fame awardees.
He said there are not so good students what school has no? Love how Ms. Vega accommodates parents with their inquiries and what not. Cook is a great teacher. Based on our experience, I would recommend Whetstone.
Glad my son went to this HS. Looking forward to seeing WHS help him grow and achieve his goals academically. Parent Review 6y ago. Check out schools near Neil Ave. Neighborhood Overview. Victorian Village. See Local Highlights. Neighborhood stats provided by third party data sources.

These are the assigned schools for Neil Ave. Dominion Middle School. GreatSchools Rating. Parent Rating Average. I think this school should educate students on being respectful to others no matter race or origin.
Calling someone the N word is totally disrespectful and should not be tolerated but clearly at this school its ok. Not acceptable. Parent Review 1y ago. Hubbard Master School. My kids go here. I dont like their form of communication.

Easy access to bike trails and plenty of options for exercise. Only lived here 2 months but so far so good. Safe, quiet off of High St, and beautiful. Wish we could live here longer, but the homes are expensive to purchase, so renters have a hard time staying in the neighborhood long-term.
I never feel unsafe taking the bus on Neil. Resident 2y ago. It offers the perfect combination of being close in proximity to absolutely everything via walking, biking, or public transportation, while also feeling quiet and safe as a residential area. I don't feel like there is any other place near Columbus that offers as much as Victorian Village does in terms of accessibility, entertainment, and safety. We will gladly continue to live in the area as renters until we can purchase a house here.
Resident 3y ago. It is a great place to be able to walk anywhere you need to go. Dog friendly ". You can walk to concerts, sporting events, restaurants, shopping and maybe even to work! I have enjoyed the festivals in Goodale Park, proximity to OSU and the Olentangy Greenway and love the fact that there is always something going on nearby. Overall I think this is one of the best neighborhoods in Columbus.
