City Leaders The mission of the City Leaders program is to develop the leaders of tomorrow by providing educational hands-on learning and mentoring. CoGo Bike Share This is the innovative transportation program providing ideal short distance, point-to-point bikes for moving around our great city of Columbus. Educational Gardens In partnership with Local Matters, this program educates youth on how to plant and harvest vegetables as well as the importance of healthy eating.

Fitness We have 18 designated "Get Active" centers with specialized workout facilities, cardio equipment, weigt machines and hundres of fitness classes. Leisure Cards We use a photo ID card system, kown as Leisure Cards, to safely identify participants during admission to our swimming pools and community recreation centers. Enjoy free meals and a space to meet new friends. Outdoor Recreation The Outdoor Recreation program was established to instill appreciation for the outdoors through learning while fostering environmental stewardship.

The Columbus Recreation and Parks Department uses a photo ID card system, known as "Leisure Cards," to safely identify participants during admission to our swimming pools and community recreation centers.

In order to take advantage of the great programs and facilities we offer around Columbus you must obtain a Leisure Card. We require Leisure Cards for any individual over the age of six. Children five and under are free with the company of a parent or guardian. Creating a new online registration account prior to applying for a new Leisure Card is not necessary, but can help expedite the process.
